Who runs it
The site is run by an independent publisher who loves the Christmas season — the lights, the music, the food, and the happy wait for the big day. There is no big company behind it, and no invented team to introduce: just one small site, made with care for people who enjoy counting down to Christmas.
How the countdowns work
Our countdowns are computed live in your own timezone, counting down to midnight on December 25. That means the number you see is worked out for where you are, not for a single fixed place. When the clock reaches Christmas Day, the countdown starts again for the following year.
Our editorial approach
We write our facts and guides from well-known public knowledge, and we check them before we publish. Traditions differ from place to place and from family to family, so we try to describe them fairly and simply.
