SHOPPING DAYS COUNTDOWN
Shopping Days Until Christmas
Monday-to-Saturday shopping days before Christmas Eve ends.
There are 48 shopping days left until Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, 2026. Sundays are not counted, so plan around 8 Sundays off in between.
Counting each day from today through December 23, and skipping Sundays. Christmas Day itself is Friday, December 25, 2026.
Why Sundays are left out
Many shops still close or run shorter hours on Sundays, so a shopping-days count is more honest than a plain calendar count. It shows the days you can realistically get out to the high street, the market, or a late-opening store — not just the days passing on the calendar.
Use the number to work backwards. Check online order deadlines early, because delivery cut-offs often arrive well before Christmas Eve, and try to avoid the final weekend rush when queues, stock shortages, and delivery slots are at their worst. A small list each week beats one frantic final trip.
